Favorite restaurants in Athens

Blue Gator: Blue Gator serves an eclectic Creole/New Orleans inspired menu, with good food and a quiet atmosphere, at least until the entertainment starts.  There is a seasonal menu which changes in response to the best  ingredients available. some purchased locally.  Service is efficient and friendly, and since the portions are very generous, they are willing to replate for sharing. I particularly like the sea bass.

Purple Chopstix: Athen's funkiest restaurant located on Richland Avenue, serves food that I find is most eclectic and delicious. The atmosphere is totally fun & inviting, the decor is way cool and it's my favorite restaurant to eat at in Athens. Did I say that the food is good too?!
